Our organisation is committed to promoting wellbeing for life for all families, particularly as a way of supporting a child’s potential including their rights for protection and safety.

This commitment is achieved through our support to children and their families to ensure their safety, participation and empowerment to reach their potential, including all aspects of life –their home and community environments.

Our organisation is committed to preventing child abuse and identifying risks early, and removing and reducing these risks.

We accept our legal and moral obligations to contact authorities when we are worried about a child’s safety.

We do this by having a zero tolerance of child abuse, all allegations and safety concerns are treated very seriously and consistently.

Our organisation maintains its long-held commitment to inclusive practice – and therefore the cultural safety of all children irrespective of cultures, faiths, genders, identities and abilities is of paramount focus.

This includes the cultural safety of Aboriginal children, the cultural safety of children from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and to providing a safe environment for children with a disability.
