About Mental Health and Wellbeing Local

Mental Health and Wellbeing Local: a brand new service for Victorian adults seeking mental health and wellbeing support closer to home.

The service is entirely free of charge and doesn’t require a referral from a doctor or health professional.

The team at Mental Health and Wellbeing Local is dedicated to listening and understanding your concerns, working with you to design a personalized care plan that meets your goals and preferences. If you require additional support, they can also connect you with other health and social services.

This service is open to anyone over the age of 26 experiencing mental health or wellbeing concerns, including those experiencing both mental health and substance use issues.

If you are a family member, carer, friend, or supporter of someone with mental health concerns, you can also access support for your own mental health needs or caring role.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Local has multiple locations throughout Victoria.  We currently provide services in Latrobe, in partnership with Neami National and Uniting Vic Tas in Latrobe, and in Whittlesea, in partnership with Neami National, Uniting Vic Tas, and Victorian Aboriginal Health Service in Whittlesea.
