CFRE – Centre for Family Research and Evaluation

The Centre for Family Research and Evaluation is a virtual collaborative applied research centre. It was established in 2006 and aims to bridge the gap between research and practice in family-based programs and practice, through implementation, contributing practice-based research and outcome evaluation to the evidence-base (particularly in the area of prevention and early intervention to promote family wellbeing and better outcomes for children), and contributing to building research and evaluation capabilities of family and community sector. CFRE has as its key aims: 1) Responding to Family and Community Need; and 2) Contributing to the Knowledge Base.
